Ambient Sound on Mobile: Make Room for Your Day
Sometimes a little rain, a low fire or a distant café is enough to change the atmosphere around what you are doing.
Ambient Sound is now available on the People of Bohemia Records mobile website. Open it in your phone’s browser and shape a mix for working, reading or unwinding, with simple controls that let you settle in quickly.
The panel brings together nine sound layers: Wind, Water, Rain, Nature, Fire, Cosmic, Café, Brown and Birds. Choose a preset such as Rain Focus or Fireside, press Play and turn the dials until the balance feels right for your space. A master control adjusts the whole mix, and a sleep timer can bring it to a stop.
Keep the mixer open while you listen. Playback pauses when you leave it.
Still taking shape
Ambient is open while testing and refinement continue, so you may notice occasional rough edges. We are giving it the same care as the wider POB experience and letting it develop through use.
A fuller desktop Ambient experience, bringing background imagery and music together, is also taking shape. POB OnDemand is being tested too, with more immersive ways to spend time inside POB developing quietly alongside it. We will share more as those pieces are ready.
For now, you are welcome to come in, find a sound you like and make a little room for your day.
